Partnering with Compassion

ezyGrow supports Compassion in a partnership role to help eliminate poverty. Part of the profits from the ezyGrow planters goes towards gifts and projects to help those in need. Below is a tally of what we have given to date. (December 2009)

The Children We Support

ezyGrow sponsors two children on an ongoing basis. We have chosen to sponsor these children with the bonus of Sponsorship Plus (water, emergency medical care, toilets and much more) to give them the best start in life.  Both of these children were not able to attend school. With our sponsorship, they will be able to obtain an education. Below is a picture of the two children we sponsor.

Christmas Gifts

This Christmas (2009) we contributed $2,070.00 towards a number of gifts for children in need. Here's what we contributed;

Support a Child through Compassion TEN mosquito nets. Bite back against malaria! Malaria kills one million people every year. This gift can help swat deadly mosquitoes in their tracks by giving children and their families a mozzie-free sleep with an insecticide-treated bed net.

You too can support a child through Compassion.

Support a Child through Compassion TEN Chickens for Children in need. This is a gift worth squawking about! Providing a chicken for a family gives them a source of income, a supply of eggs to eat and manure for vegie gardens. This gift can help support income-generating activities like raising chickens and also includes support and education to help families successfully raise and care for their animals.

You too can support a child through Compassion.
Vegie Seeds for Compassion TEN packs of vegetable seeds. A handful of seeds today is a thriving vegetable garden for the future! Growing vegetables provides not only vitamin and mineral-rich food for children and their families, but also crops to sell. This gift can help support income-generating activities like planting vegetable gardens and also includes education on how to achieve a balanced diet and grow successful crops.

You too can support a child through Compassion.
Education supplies for Compassion FIVE Education Supplies packages. There’s no such thing as a free lunch! School is free in many countries—as long as you have a school uniform and supplies. It might seem like a small price to pay, but it’s enough to deny thousands of children the opportunity to learn. This gift can help children to attend school by supplying the educational resources they need. You too can support a child through Compassion.
Dental Care for Compassion FIVE dental care packs. Give a child the joy of a dentist visit! Ok, perhaps give their parents the means to have a healthy child with regular dental check-ups, and access to medical care. Your gift can help keep children healthy by preventing the poor dental hygiene and diseases at the root of many health problems in developing countries.

You too can support a child through Compassion.
Goats for Compassion TEN Goats. Give a kid a kid! A goat is a valuable asset for rural families as they provide milk and meat to eat or sell, and extra income when kids are born. This gift can help support income-generating activities like raising goats and also includes support and education to help families successfully raise and care for their animals.

You too can support a child through Compassion.
Food for Compassion FIVE food packs. Put food on the table! Making ends meet has become even harder for families since the global food crisis pushed food prices around the world out of reach for many. This gift can help give families the training and resources they need to establish sustainable food supplies, such as a home vegetable garden, or to generate extra income to purchase food.

You too can support a child through Compassion.
Sewing Machines for Compassion FIVE Sewing Machines. Wonderwoman doesn’t wear knee-high boots and a leotard—she’s a mother trying to feed and clothe her children in a country where the only welfare system is the charity of neighbours. Your gift can help give a mother the dignity of being able to provide for her children by learning an income-generating skill such as sewing.

You too can support a child through Compassion.
Cows for Compassion ONE Cow. This one is udderly awesome! A cow is a valuable asset for a rural family as they provide milk to drink or sell and extra income when calves are born. This gift can help support income-generating activities like raising cows and also includes support and education to help families successfully raise and care for their animals.

You too can support a child through Compassion.

Throughout the year we also intend to contribute to projects that have been raised as being needed. Keep an eye on this page to stay up to date with what we are doing.
